Alcoholic Beverages Market in Central America

Between January and September 2016 Central American countries together imported $203 million worth of alcoholic beverages, 6% more than in the same period last year.

Imports
 
In the first nine months of 2016 Central American countries as a whole imported alcoholic beverages worth $203 million, the largest buying country was Panama with $51 million, followed by Guatemala with $50 million and Costa Rica with $47 million.

Exports 
In the first three quarters of 2016 Central American countries as a whole exported alcoholic drinks worth $70 million, with the main selling country being Costa Rica with $18 million, followed by Guatemala with $17 million and Panama with $12 million. 

Variation of regional flow
Imports in the first nine months of the year compared to the same period previously grew from 2013 to 2016. Exports recorded no significant changes.
